Ibrahim al-Koni’s narrative imagination is distinguished by its ability to give voice to the silence of the desert and breathe life into its inanimate forms. Al-Koni’s desert worlds are wondrous, worlds furnished with the marvelous and the strange, and with the intertwining of oral tradition, which has transformed his novels into a textual mosaic.The connection of oral heritage with al-Koni’s narratives does not mean employing it narratively only, but the intention of this connection is to benefit from the mechanisms of oral heritage narrative in the first place, so that the structure of oral heritage is intertwined with the narrative structure of the novel, so that the known world embraces the unknown world, and the real intertwines with the mythical, and the narrative oscillates between the memory of the past and the repercussions of the present, so that the reader finds himself in front of an aesthetic cultural text full of spiritual values, burdened with philosophical visions, and saturated with symbolic dimensions, which together embody the relationship of man to the universe and the desert. Therefore, this study, as methodologically outlined, seeks to explore al-Koni’s desert narratives in their aesthetic dimension, intertwined with the spirit of oral tradition and its details embedded in the depths of popular myths and legends. It aims to reveal how al-Koni utilizes this heritage and mythological concepts within his texts, which he skillfully weaves into narratives that resonate with the rhythm of experimental techniques and the allure of his unique paths.

يتميّز المتخيّل السردي لدى إبراهيم الكوني بقدرة فنية على استنطاق صمت الصحراء وبثّ الروح في جماداتها؛ فعوالم الكوني الصحراوية عوالم نابضة بالحياة، عوالم باعثة على الدهشة، عوالم أثّثها العجائبي والغرائبي وتعالق الموروث الشفوي الذي جعل من رواياته فسيفساء نصوصية. إن تعالق الموروث الشفوي بروايات الكوني لا يعني بالضرورة توظيفه سرديا فحسب، إنما القصد من ذلك التعالق هو الإفادة من آليات السرد التراثي الشفوي أساسا؛ بحيث تتشابك بنية الموروث الشفوي بالبنية السردية الروائية، فيتعانق العالم المعلوم والعالم المجهول، ويتداخل الواقعي مع الأسطوري، ويتأرجح السرد بين ذاكرة الماضي وتداعيات الحاضر، ليجد القارئ نفسه -في المحصّلة- أمام نص جمالي ثقافي مفعم بالقيم الروحية، مثقل بالرؤى الفلسفية، مشبع بالأبعاد الرمزية، والتي تجسّد مجتمعةً علاقة الإنسان بالكون والصحراء وفق المنظور الإبداعي للكوني. ولذا تسعى هذه الدراسة فيما سُطّر لها منهجيا إلى استقراء سرديات الصحراء لدى إبراهيم الكوني في بعدها الجمالي المتشابك مع روح الموروث الشفوي بتفاصيله المتوغّلة في لجج الأساطير والخرافات الشعبية، وتهدف إلى الكشف عن كيفيّة استثمار الكوني لذلك الموروث وللتصورات الميثولوجية داخل نصوصه التي أجادت حبك سردها على إيقاع ألاعيب التجريب وغواية مساراته المتفردة.

L’imagination narrative d’Ibrahim al-Koni se distingue par son art de donner voix au silence du désert et d’insuffler la vie à ses formes inanimées. Ses univers désertiques, vibrants et merveilleux, regorgent de fantaisie et d’étrangeté, tissés de tradition orale qui transforme ses romans en une mosaïque textuelle. Le lien établi entre le patrimoine oral et les récits d’al-Koni ne se limite pas à une simple utilisation narrative ; il s’agit principalement avant tout de tirer parti des mécanismes propres à la narration orale, afin que sa structure s’entremêle à celle de la structure narrative du roman. Le monde connu embrasse ainsi l’inconnu, le réel se mêle au mythique, et le récit oscille entre le souvenir du passé et les répercussions du présent. Le lecteur se trouve alors face à un texte culturel esthétique, riche de valeurs spirituelles, empreint de visions philosophiques et saturé de dimensions symboliques, qui ensemble incarnent, le rapport de l’homme à l’univers et au désert selon la perspective créative d’al-Koni. Ainsi, cette étude, dans son cadre méthodologique, explore la dimension esthétique des récits désertiques d’al-Koni, liée à l’esprit et aux détails de la tradition orale, profondément ancrée dans les mythes et légendes populaires. Elle vise à révéler comment al-Koni utilise cet héritage et ces concepts mythologiques au sein de ses textes, qu’il intègre avec habileté à des récits vibrants au rythme de ses techniques expérimentales et imprégnés de la singularité de son écriture.
