This study investigates the complexities involved in translating Holy Quran, focusing on the need for precision, context comprehension, and diligent analysis. It particularly examines the significance of Asbab al-Nuzul, the circumstances surrounding the revelation of Quranic verses, in providing a deeper understanding and accurate translation of the Quran’s messages. Through a comparative descriptive methodology, the research scrutinizes various translations of the chapter Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrites), assessing how translators either incorporate or neglect the historical and situational context of its revelation in their translation efforts. The study aims to link the comprehension and analysis of the Quranic text to its translation process, leveraging contemporary translation theories that prioritize textual analysis. Key findings highlight the essential role of a translator’s in-depth understanding of the Quran’s context in producing a faithful and equivalent translation. This research underscores the necessity of contextual and analytical considerations in translating the nuanced and richly layered Quranic text.

تهدف هذه الدّراسة إلى تسليط الضّوء على واحدة من إشكالات ترجمة القرآن الكريم، كونها عملية تستوجب الدّقة والتّريث والعمل الجاد من خلال النّظر في مدى استعانة المترجمين بسياقات النّص القرآني، لهذا يسعى الباحثان إلى تبيّن أثر رعاية مقام النّزول بوصفه السّياق الخارجي له والّذي يعين على تحديد معانيه بدقة فيربط فهم النّص وتحليله بترجمته، ويقع كلّ هذا ضمن البحث عن سبل التّرجمة الأمثل لمعانيه من خلال ما تقدّمه النّظريات الحديثة للتّرجمة، خاصة تلك الّتي استفادت من النّصانية، والّتي تجعل من النّص كاملا موضوعها سعيا إلى تقديم التّرجمة المكافئة للنّص الأصلي. وتعتمد الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المقارن من خلال إجراء تحليل لعملية الترجمة والمقارنة بين ترجمات مختلفة والّتي تتباين في كيفية العودة إلى أسباب النّزول المتعلّقة بسورة «المنافقون» واستثمار الموقف الّذي نزلت فيه لفهم النّص وثمّ ترجمته أو عدم العودة إليه أساسا. و من أهم النّتائج الّتي أسفر عنها البحث أنّه على قدر إلمام المترجم بالظّروف المصاحبة للنّص القرآني فهما وتحليلا تكون ترجمته أمينة وعلى قدر عال من التكافؤ.

Cette étude vise à mettre en lumière l’une des complexités de la traduction du Saint Coran, un processus qui nécessite précision, réflexion et travail rigoureux. Elle examine dans quelle mesure les traducteurs utilisent les contextes du texte coranique. Les chercheurs cherchent à démontrer l’importance de prendre en compte le contexte de la révélation comme cadre externe, ce qui aide à déterminer précisément les significations, liant ainsi la compréhension et l’analyse du texte à sa traduction. Ceci s’inscrit dans la quête plus large de trouver les meilleures manières de traduire ses significations à travers l’application des théories modernes de la traduction, en particulier celles qui bénéficient de la textualité, considérant le texte entier comme leur sujet dans le but de fournir une traduction équivalente au texte original. L’étude utilise une méthode comparative descriptive en analysant le processus de traduction et en comparant différentes traductions, qui varient dans leur approche des raisons de la révélation liée au chapitre «Al-Munafiqun» et l’utilisation des circonstances de sa révélation pour comprendre puis traduire le texte
