The purpose of the article is to present Taha Abdulrahman's conception of the concept of hierarchy of the mind in Islamic practice, and then to examine its commitment to the conditions on which this vision was based and its results, and to verify its compatibility with the reality of this practice; For an intellectual reference that respects the terms of the modern mental curriculum and the rigorous scientific perspective.But he did not succeed in reaching his goal because he was not objective in reading the reality of Islamic practice, but was closer to the description of his own practice compared to the practices of others, so the findings need to be reviewed, and this will explain the article.

يهدف المقال إلى عرض تصور طه عبد الرحمن لمفهوم العقل ومراتبه في الممارسة الإسلامية، ثم النظر في مدى التزامه بالشروط التي انبنى عليه هذا التصور وما أفضت إليه من نتائج، والتحقق من مدى توافقها مع واقع هذه الممارسة ؛التي انطلق منها ليؤسس فكرا إسلاميا جديدا يستند إلى مرجعية فكرية تلتزم بشروط المناهج العقلية الحديثة، وبالتنظير العلمي المحكم .لكنه لم يوفق في الوصول إلى مراده لأنه لم يكن موضوعيا في قراءته لواقع الممارسة الإسلامية، بل كان أقرب إلى وصف ممارسته الخاصة مقارنة بممارسات غيره ،لذا فإن النتائج التي توصل إليها تحتاج إلى مراجعة، وهذا ما سيوضحه المقال.

Le but de cet article est de présenter la conception de Taha Abdulrahman du concept de hiérarchie de l'esprit dans la pratique islamique. On y examinera le degré de sa conformité aux conditions qui fondent cette vision et sa compatibilité avec la réalité de cette pratique pour pouvoir évaluer résultats.On vérifiera si le présupposé et la perspective scientifique respectent, avec la rigueur requise, les termes du curriculum mental moderne.S’il n’avait pas réussi atteint l’objectif assigné, ce serait parce qu’il n’était pas objectif dans sa lecture de la réalité de la pratique islamique : il était plus proche de la description de sa propre pratique.
