This work revolves around a manifestation of material cultural heritage, the architectural appearance of the Koranic schools, in an area of Algeria, the Beni Maouche region of the rural countryside. The Koranic schools are among the most important religious, social, political, economic, cultural, educational, religious and even military institutions. On the other hand, the Koranic schools are a clear indicator of the spread of educational and worship institutions in all the rural villages in the rural area of Bejaia in general and the Beni Maouche area in particular. In addition to the scientific and cultural value that we can draw from the Koranic schools through study, auditing, research and investigation, the latter is characterized by simplicity in its architecture, as well as the lack of decoration, and the unity of architecture in some and teams in others in terms of architecture and schemes. This study aims at identifying the importance of Quranic schools in the Wadi Al-Suam area in general, and the Bani Maouche area in particular.

Ce travail s’articule autour d’une manifestation du patrimoine culturel matériel qui est l’aspect architectural des écoles coraniques, dans une région de l’Algérie, la région de Beni Maouche à la campagne. Les écoles coraniques sont des institutions religieuses, sociales, politiques, économiques, culturelles, éducatives, religieuses et militaires d’une grande importance. Elles sont un indicateur clair de propagation et de culte dans tous les villages ruraux de Bejaia en général et de la région de Beni Maouche en particulier ;Outre la valeur scientifique et culturelle que nous pouvons tirer des écoles coraniques par le biais d'études, d'audits, de recherches et d'investigations, ces écoles se caractérisent par la simplicité de leur architecture, ainsi que par le manque de décoration et par l'unité de l'architecture chez certains et les aménagements chez d’autres. Cette étude vise à identifier l’importance des écoles coraniques dans la région de Vallée de la Soumam en général et dans celle de Bani Maouche en particulier
