The spirit of philosophy from the point of view of Averroes - Look for sense and dimensions –

Abstract

English

The present study tends to reveal the status of the philosophy from the point of view of the philosopher Averroes (Abû Walid Muhammad Ibn ' Rushd), through an analysis of his book "Fasl Al Maqual" (The decisive Speech) which highlights the marks of his philosophy in our Islamic convictions, so that demonstrating the functional concept of the philosophy through the notion of interpretation. So, the gap created further to the contact with the Greek thought is reduced and the rough initiatives of many other philosophers are overtaken. The present study focuses in the end on the proportions of this philosophic spirit and the relation between the philosophy and the Sharia in the Arabic thought and through the laic theory of the Lebanese theorist Farah Antoine. This approach thus aims to escape the superficial understanding and to become impregnated with a consciousness gone deeper into an ideological context maintained by the text and context connected to the history.

يحاول هذا البحث طرح مكانة التفلسف عند الفيلسوف القرطبي أبي الوليد بن رشد من خلال دراسة تحليلية لكتابه "فصل المقال فيما بين الحكمة والشريعة من اتصال"، كاشفا دور هذه الروح في أفق تمثلاتنا الإسلامية، ببيان البعد الدلالي الوظيفي للفلسفة والبث في شرعيتها، قصد ردم الهوة بين المعرفي اليوناني والإسلامي وتَجاوز المساعي التقريبية لفلاسفة الإسلام من منطلق أنموذجه الفكري، والبحث في منتهاه وقف عند أبعاد هذه الروح وعلاقتها بالدين في الفكر العربي من خلال المطارحة العلمانية للمفكر اللبناني فرح أنطون. بُغية الخروج من نمطية الفهم التلفيقي إلى فهم أكثر وعيّ للمتن الرشدي في سياق داخلي يخدمه النص وخارجي مرتبط بالتاريخ.

La présente étude tend à dévoiler le statut de la philosophie chez le philosophe Averroès (Abû Walid Muhammad Ibn' Rushd), à travers une analyse de son livre « Fasl Al Maqual»(Le Discours décisif) qui met en évidence les marques de sa philosophie dans nos représentations islamiques, en démontrant le concept fonctionnel de la philosophie. Ainsi, l’interstice créé suite au contact avec la pensée grecque est réduit et les démarches approximatives de certains philosophes penchées sur l’Islam, sont dépassées. La présente étude met à la fin l’accent sur les proportions de cet esprit philosophique et la relation entre la philosophie et la Charia dans la pensée arabe et ce à travers la thèse laïque du théoricien libanais Farah Antoine. Cette démarche a donc pour objectif d’échapper à la compréhension superficielle et de s’imprégner d’une conscience approfondie dans un contexte idéologique entretenu par le texte et le contexte externe lié à l’Histoire.
