لقد استطاع النقد الغربي أن يفرض نفسه علينا، فدخل ديارنا، ولم تمر فترة من الزمن حتّى احتضنته مدارسنا وجامعاتنا، وأصبح مجبرا على أساتذتنا أن يدرسّوه، ويتعمقوا فيه، وعلى طلبتنا أن يفهموا غثّه وسمينه، فيحفظونه في صدورهم، ويعظمون من شأنه. ولعلّ عدم وجود مصفاة أو غربال يغربل ما يؤلّفه المثقّف العربي ولا سيّما منه في النقد الأدبي، فقد حوصرنا بمؤلفات نقدية هجينة لا تّغني ولا تسمن من جوع، حتّى بات النقد العربي المعاصر غارقا في وحل من السفسطات والمماحكات والمغالطات.

ويأتي هذا البحث في سياق التعريف بالجانب المظلم من الحداثة النقدية العربية من خلال تتبّع حركة الثورة المضادة لهذه الحداثة منذ الرعيل الأوّل حتّى العقد الأول من القرن الواحد والعشرين.

La critique occidentale a pu imposer ses droits dans notre territoire, il est entre dans nos maisons, et dans un période courte il est embrassé par nos école, et par nos universités, ainsi il est devenu obligatoirement à nos enseignants et à nos étudiants de bien absorper ce critique, et de bien consulter Peut-être l'absence d'une passoire ou un tamis qui tamisé toute les créations des intellectuels arabes, surtout au domaine de la critique littéraire, nous étions encerclés par des œuvres vraiment Hybride et maigre, Ainsi, Cette recherche vient pour définir la côté obscur de la modernité critique arabe, en suivant le mouvement de la contre-révolution de la modernité depuis la première génération jusqu'à la première ère du XXIe siècle.
