Prolifération des sigles dans Le Quotidien d’Oran et problèmes d’interprétation

Acronyms are a type of abbreviation, a word (lexicon) formation process that consists in reducing a succession of words to a single word, thus the acronym is one signification, which has two significant.  The question that arises here is to know if the readers of the French-speaking Algerian press, are able to find the initial continuation of words to which are attached to the acronyms.

In newspapers, the acronym appears alone, without its gloss, and in the absence of any explanation, how to interpret the acronym, therefore to understand the speech of press.

This article suggests answering this question, through an investigation led with readers of the "Quotidien d’Oran". The results are exposed in this article.

الِاختِزالات هي نوع من الِاختِصار وهو عملية تَكوين في النَحو والَّذي يَهدِف إِلى تَقلِيص مجموعة عِبارات مُتتالية في عِبارة واحِدة إِذًا الاِختِزال هو عِبارة عن معنى ذا تعبيرين. السُؤَال الّذي يَطرَحُ نَفسَهُ هُنَا هُوَ عَن مَعرِفة ما إذا كان قارِئ الصَّحافة الجزائريّة الناطقة باللُّغة الفرنسية قادر على إيجاد الكلمات المتتابعة التي بِداياتها مَوجُودَة في الاِختِزَال. الاِختِزال يظهر في الجرائد بدون شرح’و في غياب أيِّ شرح ’ كيف يفهم هذا الاختزال ’ و بالتَّالي كيف يُفهم الحِوار الصَحَفي.

les sigles sont une forme d’abréviation et c’est un procédé de formation du lexique qui consiste à réduire une suite de mots en un seul mot, donc le sigle est un signifié qui a deux signifiants. La question qui sepose ici est de savoir si les lecteurs de la presse algérienne francophone sont capables de retrouver la suite de mots initiale à laquelle est rattaché le sigle. Dans les journaux, le sigle apparait seul, sans sa glose, et en l’absence de toute explication, comment interpréter le sigle, donc comment comprendre le discours de presse.

Cet article se propose de répondre à cette question, à travers une enquête menée auprès des lecteurs du « Quotidien d’Oran ». Les résultats sont exposés dans cet article.
