Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of “ Aljadal al usouli “ and its impact on arranging the structure of the science of “fundamentals of jurisprudence” as a subject and method, as it is a “special science of fundamentals of jurisprudence,” with a clarification of the relationship of logic to controversy, and their relationship together with the scientific method, and an explanation of the foundations upon which fundamentalist debate was built in composition and debate, with a statement of the characteristics of Islamic debate in particular. In the origins and its distinction from the Greek debate regarding intentionality, the mechanisms of knowledge production, then its argument and the extent to which it is necessary to adopt it..
I have tried to clarify the issues of the “ Aljadal al usouli “ by studying “The Book of Controversy” by Imam Ali bin Surur al-Hanbali, and to clarify its general and specific architecture in this book, which came within the context of the fundamentalist debate, taking into account the Hanbali specificity.
