The revision and publication of the Arabic manuscript heritage is one of the studies that have

attracted the attention of orientalists for various purposes, perhaps the most prominent of which is that it represents the basic basis for understanding the Arab-Islamic civilization, hence the need to  investigate the Arab-Islamic heritage and publish it to be studied later. This article attempts to address the concept of textual verification, reveal its methodology, highlight the extent to which orientalists contribute to the realization of the Arabic-Islamic heritage, highlight their position towards this cultural heritage, clarify their methods in it, and provide a picture of the most important orientalist figures who worked in this field, in addition to seeing their most important efforts and works in the service of the Arabic-Islamic manuscript heritage.

يعدّ تحقيق ونشر التّراث العربي المخطوط من الدّراسات الّتي نالت اهتمام المستشرقين لأغراض مختلفة، ولعلّ أبرزها كونه يمثّل القاعدة الأساسية لفهم الحضارة العربية الإسلامية، ومن هنا ظهرت الحاجة إلى تحقيق التّراث العربي الإسلامي ونشره لتقام عليه دراسات فيما بعد.

يحاول هذا المقال التّطرّق إلى مفهوم علم تحقيق النّصوص، والكشف عن منهجه، وإبراز مدى مساهمة المستشرقين في تحقيق التّراث العربي الإسلامي، كما يسلّط الضّوء على موقفهم اتّجاه هذا الإرث الحضاري، ويوضّح أساليبهم فيه، ويقدّم صورة عن أهمّ الأعلام المستشرقين الّذين عملوا في هذا المجال، إضافة إلى الاطّلاع على أهم جهودهم وأعمالهم في خدمة التّراث العربي الإسلامي المخطوط.

L’étude de l’exploration et la publication du patrimoine arabe manuscrit intéresse les orientalistes et ce pour plusieurs raisons. A titre d’exemple, cette étude représente la composante essentielle à la compréhension de la civilisation arabo-musulmane. D’ici apparait la nécessité à l’investigation et à l’exploration du patrimoine arabo- musulman dans le but de le diffuser pour qu’il soit l’objet d ‘études ultérieures. Dans cet article nous tentons d’expliquer la science de la vérification des textes, dévoiler sa méthodologie, et révéler le rôle important qu’a joué les orientalistes lors de la réalisation du patrimoine arabo -musulman. Nous allons aussi mettre la lumière sur leur idéologie par rapport à cet héritage culturel et exposer leurs méthodes. Cet article nous donne un aperçu sur les efforts et les travaux de chercheurs orientalistes qui se sont penchés sur l’étude des manuscrits arabo-musulmans
