This study aims to explore the relationship between school phobia and self-esteem of the schooling teenager, and the extent to which there are statistically significant differences in school phobia due to gender and academic level (first, second and third year average). The study sample is consisted of (135) pupils in the middle at The Masheri Mohammed Intermediate School in Tiaret (Algeria). The study found a negative correlation between school phobia and self-esteem. It also revealed the existence of differences among genders in the phobia of teacher and phobia of exams in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences in school phobia due to the change in the school level.

تهدف الدراسة الحالية الى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين المخاوف المدرسية وتقدير الذات لدى المراهق المتمدرس ، ومدى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المخاوف المدرسية حسب متغير الجنس والمستوى الدراسي (سنة أولى وثانية وثالثة متوسط) ، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (135) تلميذا بمتوسطة مشري محمد ولاية تيارت(بالجزائر)،فأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين المخاوف المدرسية وتقدير الذات، ووجود فروق بين الجنسين في الخوف من المعلم و الخوف من الامتحانات لصالح الإناث، بينما لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المخاوف المدرسية تعزى لمتغير المستوى الدراسي.

Cette étude a pour objectif principal la découverte de la nature de la relation entre les phobies scolaires et l’estime de soi chez l’adolescent scolarisé, ansi les différences statistiquement significatives dans les phobies scolaires selon le sexe et le niveau scolaire (première, deuxième et troisième année moyenne). L’étude porte sur un échantillon de (135) élèves au milieu de l’école Mesheri Mohammed a Tiaret(Algérie). Les résultats de cette étude ont permis de déceler une relation de corrélation négative entre les phobies scolaires et l’estime de soi, il existe des différences entre les sexes dans la phobie de l’enseignant et la phobie des examens au profit du sexe féminin, bien qu’il n’y ait pas de différences statistiquement significatives dans les phobies scolaires attribuables à variable du niveau scolaire.
