La manifestation des seuils dans le discours préfatoire du roman « Qui a tué ce sourire » de Lyamine Bentoumi : une étude sur la sémiotique du titre

This study aims to shed light on the title as a parallel text to a longer and more complex text. The title serves as a primary threshold and is the first thing a reader encounters when examining a book. It attracts them to delve into the text and discover its features. In addition to this attractive function, the title also decodes the text and analyzes its symbols. It is a condensation of the extended text, offering a glimpse of it without revealing everything. Here, the writer’s genius and the difficulty of titling come to the fore. How can one distill what is said over many pages into a single sentence, or sometimes even a single word ? The novel “Who Killed This Smile” by Lamine Ben Tumi has been chosen for this analysis to practice the semiotics of the title due to its interrogative nature. This question on the cover piques curiosity and encourages us to search through the narrative for a satisfactory answer. Our study relies on the descriptive-analytical as it aligns with the nature of the topic.

تهدف هذه الدّراسة إلى دراسة العنوان بصفته نصّا موازيا لنصّ آخر أكثر طولا وتشعّبا، حيث يعدّ العنوان عتبة أولى، وأوّل ما يصطدم به القارئ عند تفحّصه لكتاب ما، فيعمل على جذبه ليخوض غمار النّصّ ويكتشف معالمه. بالإضافة إلى هذه الوظيفة الجذبيّة، يعمل العنوان كذلك على فكّ شفرات النّصّ وتحليل رموزه، ذلك أنّه اِختزال للمتن المطوّل، يقدّم لمحة عنه، إلّا أنّه لا يقول كلّ شيء، وهنا تبرز عبقريّة الكاتب وصعوبة العنونة، فكيف له أنْ يختصر ما قيل في صفحات كثيرة، في جملة واحدة، وفي بعض الأحيان: في كلمة واحدة. لقد وقع الاِختيار على رواية: «من قتل هذه الاِبتسامة» لليامين بن تومي، لنمارس عليها سيميائيّة العنوان، لطبيعة هذا الأخير الاِستفهاميّة، فهذا التّساؤل الّذي يعتلي الواجهة يثير فضول المعرفة، ويدفعنا للبحث بين طيّات المتن السّرديّ عن إجابة شافية، معتمدين في دراستنا هذه على الوصف والتّحليل، نظرا لتناسبهما وطبيعة الموضوع.

Cette étude vise à mettre en lumière le titre en tant que texte parallèle à un autre texte plus long et plus complexe, où le titre est un premier seuil, et la première chose que le lecteur rencontre en examinant un livre, il s’efforce donc de l’inciter à parcourir le texte et à en découvrir ses caractéristiques. En plus de cette fonction attrayante, le titre travaille également à déchiffrer le texte et à analyser ses symboles, car il s’agit d’un raccourci pour le texte long, donnant un aperçu de celui-ci, mais il ne dit pas tout, et ici le génie de l’écrivain et la difficulté d’aborder émergent, alors comment peut-il résumer ce qui a été dit en plusieurs pages, en une phrase, et parfois en un mot ? Le roman qui été choisi : « Qui a tué ce sourire ? » de Yamin Ben Toumi, pour pratiquer la sémiotique du titre, en raison du caractère interrogatif de ce dernier, cette question qui vient au premier plan chatouille la curiosité du savoir, et nous pousse à chercher entre les replis du corps narratif une réponse satisfaisante. Dans cette étude, nous nous appuyons sur l’approche descriptive et analytique, étant donné qu’elle est appropriée à la nature du sujet.
