Abstract

Internet addiction is a new psychological disorder, which attracted the attention of many researchers especially in terms of its effects. This study aims at examining the relationship between internet and Social isolation among a sample of students enrolled in Oum El Bouaghi University. It aims, also, at knowing   the differences among genders as far as internet addiction satisfaction is concerned.The study sample consisted of (194) students (92) males and (102) females from various faculties. Two scales were used; the Internet addiction scale andthe Social isolation one. The study revealed the following results:

 -There is a positive correlation between internet and Social isolation among a sample of students enrolled in Oum El Bouaghi University.

-Significant differences appeard between males and females in internet addiction showing that males are more addicted to internet than females.

يعدُّ إدمان الانترنتاضطراباً نفسياً من بين الاضطرابات التي حظيت باهتمام عديد من الباحثين، خاصة من ناحية الآثار الناجمة عنه، وقد هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى بحث العلاقة بينه وبين متغير العزلة الاجتماعية لعينة من طلبة جامعة أم البواقي والفروق بين الجنسين في إدمان الانترنت، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (194) طالباً؛ (92) طالباً و(102) طالبةً من معظم الكليات وقد استخدم مقياسان هما: مقياس إدمان الانترنت، ومقياس العزلة الاجتماعية، وكشفت الدراسة عن:

- وجود علاقة ترابط موجبة بين إدمان الانترنت والعزلة الاجتماعية لعينة من طلبة جامعة أم البواقي.

- وجود فروق بين الذكور والإناث من الطلبة في درجة إدمان الانترنت لصالح الطلبة الذكور.

La dépendance à Internet est un des troubles psychologiques que de nombreux chercheurs ont étudié pour en montrer les effets. Cette étude a pour objectif principal de vérifier la relation existante entre la dépendance à Internet et l'isolement social, ainsi que la différence entre les sexes dans cette dépendance. Cette étude se base sur un échantillon de (194) étudiants : (92) étudiants et (102) étudiantes de la plupart des facultés. Nous avons utilisé deux tests : test de la dépendance à Internet,et test de l'isolement social.Les résultats de l'étude ont permis de constater :               

- Une relation de corrélation positive entre la dépendance à Internet et l'isolement social.

- Des différences de l’indice statistique dans le degré dedépendance à Internet perçu par les deux sexes,en faveur des étudiantsde sexe masculin.
