Identity between cognitive rooting and civilized acculturation

Abstract

English

This research seeks to clarify the concept of identity through its manifestations in various knowledge fields, as it constitutes with its components an image of self-reflection in the mirror of other and difference in favor of building an acculturation that respects human values and contributes in world civilizational construction. Globalization, as well as information revolution breakthroughs in communications fields have paved the way for people’s rapprochement and imposed multiple forms of communication which have produced a plurality of identities and diversity of cultural particularities.  Which has led sometimes to cooperation, tolerance and accessibility within a layout based on mutual respect and the other’s acceptance, and at other times to clash and conflict, fearing identification, fusion and loss of identities. The Arab traveler contacted the European West in order to achieve Self-development and access to western technical and technological achievement. It was the cultural shock that posed an issue in culture’s construction after the identity and its components were transformed into a mechanism and a reference determining the “ego with the other” relation.

يسعى هذا البحث إلى تبيان مفهوم الهوية عبر تمظهراتها في مختلف الحقول المعرفية، فهي تشكل بمكوناتها مرآة لانعكاس الذات في مرآة الغيرية والاختلاف بغرض بناء مثاقفة ندية تحترم القيم الإنسانية وتساهم في البناء الحضاري العالمي. فقد مهَّدت العولمة وفتوحات الثورة المعلوماتية في عالم الاتصالات، على تقارب الشعوب وفرضت صيغًا متعددة للتواصل والاحتكاك الذي أنتج تعددية في الهويات وتنوعًا في الخصوصيات الثقافية، مما يدفع تارة للتعاون والتسامح والانفتاح ضمن منظومة قائمة على قواعد الاحترام المتبادل والاعتراف بالآخر، وتارة أخرى إلى الصدام والتنازع، خوفا من التماهي والانصهار والضياع الهوياتي. لقد اتصل الرحالة العربي بالغرب الأوروبي بهدف تطوير الذات والاطلاع على المنجز التقني والتكنولوجي الغربي، فكانت الصدمة الحضارية التي شكلت مفارقة في بناء المثاقفة بعدما تحولت الهوية ومكوناتها إلى آلية ومرجعية محددة لعلاقة الأنا بالآخر.

Cette recherche vise à clarifier le concept d’identité à travers ses manifestations dans divers domaines de la connaissance, car elle constitue avec ses composantes un miroir de réflexion sur soi dans le miroir de l’altéritéetde la différence afin de construire une acculturation qui respecte les valeurs humaines et contribue à la construction civilisationnelle mondiale. La mondialisation et la révolution dans le monde des communications ont ouvert la voie au rapprochement des peuples et ont imposé de multiples formes de communication qui ont produit une pluralité identitaire et une diversité de spécificités culturelles. Le nomade arabe a contacté l’Occident européen dans le but de se développer et de voir l’accomplissement technique et technologique occidental, de sorte que le choc des cultures a constitué un paradoxe del’identité et l’acculturation.
