The linguistic Structure’s dependency of the function, between concept and practice in light of functional linguistics

Abstract

English

This article examines the principle that claims that the structure of natural languages is linked to its function, which makes the structure a reflection of the function, and it takes from functional grammar theory with its structural and deliberative aspects a theoretical framework and a procedural approach in analyzing linguistic structures of the Holy Quran, focusing on the school of Prague and André Martin  on the functional structural trend  and on Simon Dick’s theory of functional grammar on the deliberative side.

يبحث هذا المقال في المبدأ القائل بأنّ بنية اللّغات الطّبيعيّة ترتبط بوظيفتها ارتباطا يجعل البنية انعكاسا للوظيفة، ويتّخذ من نظريّة النّحو الوظيفي بجانبيه البنيوي والتّداولي؛ إطارا نظريّا ومنهجا إجرائيّا في تحليل بنيات لغويّة من القرآن الكريم، مركّزا على مدرسة براغ وأندريه مارتيني عن الاتّجاه البنيويّ الوظيفيّ، وعلى نظريّة النّحو الوظيفي بزعامة سيمون ديك عن الجانب التّداولي.

Le présent article vise à examiner le principe selon lequel la structure des langues naturelles est étroitement liée à ses fonctions ce qui fait que la structure devient le reflet de la fonction.

En se basant sur le fonctionnalisme (Ecole de Prague et Andrés Martinet) et sur l’approche pragmatique (Grammaire fonctionnelle de Simon Dik), cette étude investit la théorie fonctionnaliste, au double plan - structural et pragmatique-  et trace le cadre théorique d’une approche procédurale dans l’analyse des structures linguistiques du Saint Coran.
