Our research work deals with the way Assia DJEBAR depicts the intercultural in her novel entitled ‘Love, the Fantasy’. The two terms of repulsion and fusion are found in the midst of the contact between two Algerian and French cultures. Assia DJEBAR reveals throughout her novel the colonial real reasons that led to the birth of a new postcolonial hybrid society who represents herself as a mutation proceeding from the fusion between these two worlds.

يهدف عملنا إلى عرض كيفية تقديم آسيا جبار للتفاعل الثقافي في روايتها "الحب و الفانتازيا"، فمصطلحي التنافر و الانصهار موجودان بمركز اتصال الثقافتين الجزائرية و الفرنسية، و قد كشفت آسيا جبار من خلال كتابتها الستار حول الأسباب الاستعمارية التي قادت إلى ولادة مجتمع جزائري جديد هجين بعد الاستعمار و التي تعتبر نفسها كواحدة من المتحولين الذين أنتجهم الانصهار بين هذين العالمين.

Notre présent travail porte sur la façon dont Assia Djebar représente l’interculturalité dans son roman L’amour, la fantasia. Les deux termes de la répulsion et de la fusion se trouvent au centre du contact entre les deux cultures algérienne et française. Assia Djebar nous dévoile, à travers son écrit, les raisons coloniales qui ont conduit à la naissance d’une nouvelle société algérienne hybride postcoloniale tout en se représentant elle-même comme l’un des mutants produits par la fusion entre ces deux univers.
