The objective of this research is to study the role of the civil society in the diffusion of the environmental conscience, in order to produce behaviors which, protect the environment in Algeria, through a diagnosis on the environmental situation in Algeria, and also to study the mechanisms of civil society in the field of environmental protection under the new law N° 03/10. This study is also trying to demonstrate the challenges faced by these organizations and propose the solutions to increase the effectiveness of the voluntary civil action for environmental awareness and protection of the environment in Algeria.

تهدف هذه الدراسة، إلى البحث في الأدوار التي يضطلع بها المجتمع المدني في هندسة ونشر الوعي البيئي، بالشكل الذي يؤدي إلى تكريس اتجاهات وإنتاج أنماط سلوكية حضارية محافظة على البيئة في الجزائر، وذلك من خلال تشخيص واقع الإشكالية البيئية في الجزائر، وكذا التطرق إلى آليات عمل المجتمع المدني في مجال التوعية وحماية البيئة في إطار القانون الجديد رقم 03/10، فضلا عن التطرق إلى التحديات التي تواجه عمل هذه المنظمات واقتراح أفضل البدائل التي من شأنها الرفع من فعالية وكفاءة العمل المدني الطوعي في نشر الوعي البيئي وفي مجال حماية البيئة وترقيتها في الجزائر.

L’objectif de cette recherche est d'étudier le rôle de la société civile dans la promotion de la conscience environnementale, afin d’inculquer des comportements susceptibles de protéger l'environnement en Algérie et ce, à travers un diagnostic de la situation environnementale en Algérie, l’étude des mécanismes du travail de la société civile dans le domaine de la protection de l’environnement en vertu de la nouvelle loi N° 03/10. La présente étude cherche également à démontrer les défis rencontrés par ces organisations et de proposer les meilleures solutions pour accroître l’efficacité de l’action civile volontaire en faveur de la sensibilisation à l’environnement et de la protection de l’environnement en Algérie.
