The cultural horizon of Ibn Rushd's theory of knowledge

Abstract

English

In establishing his theory of knowledge, Ibn Rochd has shown that it is a human possibility available to every person whose goal is truth , and knows how to employ  and exploit the different cognitive tools he possesses . He can gradually establish certainty. For him the cognitive act comes back to the method by which one grasps the truth, that is why he took an explicit position towards the different methods and approaches that were adopted in his time. Ibn Rochd in this epistemological project had a civilazational Horizon, where he wants to determine the real factors to build a civilized society.  These ideas we will elucidated in this article.

 لقد بيّن ابن رشد، وهو يؤسس لنظرية المعرفة، أنها إمكانية بشرية متاحة لكل من كانت الحقيقة غايته، وعرف كيف يوّظف ويستغل مختلف الأدوات المعرفية التي يمتلكها، حيث سيتمكن بطريقة تصاعدية من التأسيس لليقين، كون الحواس لوحدها، رغم أهميتها، غير كافية والأمر نفسه ينطبق على العقل، فهو عارف بالقوة ولا يكون عارفا بالفعل إلاّ عندما يتوسل بالمعطيات الحسية، التي يحولها إلى حقيقة مجردة كلية. فالأمر عنده مرتبط بالطريق الذي نتوسل به لامتلاك الحقيقة، ولهذا اتّخذ موقفا صريحا من مختلف المناهج التي كانت معتمدة في عصره، فأقرّ بأهمية طريق الخطابة والحجاج في العملية التعليمية والاقناعية، وكذلك في مساعدة العقل ألبرهاني في بناء اليقين، لكنها لوحدها وإن كانت تصلح لفئة من الناس، فهي غير كافية لبناء الحقيقة الكلية الثابتة، فقد رهن امتلاك المعرفة بطبيعة الأدوات المعرفية المتوسل بها والعلاقة التكاملية التي يجب أن تستغل لبناء المعرفة وهو عمل نرى انه لا يهدف إلى مجرّد بناء نظرية في المعرفة فقطم بل، له أبعاد ابستيمولوجية وأخرى اجتماعية حضارية تؤكد انخراط هذا الفيلسوف في مشروع حضاري اجتماعي واسع الأفق، وهذا ما سنوضحه في هذا المقال.

Ibn Rochd, lors de son établissement de sa théorie de la connaissance, a montré que celle-ci est une possibilité humaine disponible à chaque personne dont la vérité est son objectif, et savait utiliser et exploiter les déférents outils cognitifs qui sont à sa disposition ; d’où il pourra progressivement établir la certitude. Pour lui l’acte cognitif revienne à la méthode par laquelle on saisit la vérité, c’est pour cela, il a pris une position explicite sur les différentes méthodes et approches qui ont été adoptées à son époque. Ibn Rochd en réalisons ce projet épistémologique avais un Horizon civilisationnelle, ou il veut déterminer les vrais facteurs qui peuvent permettre a construire une société civilisé qui peuvent assumer ca responsabilité scientifique est civilisationnelle. Ces engagements qui en plusieurs transfigurations, nous allons l'élucider dans cet article.
