Supersegmental phonemes and their grammatical and semantic functions at Kamal Bishr

Abstract

English

This study focuses on the vocal phenomena related to the pronunciation performance such as: stress, intonation and pauses. They are collectively called the supersegmtental phonemes "; by the explanation and analysis of its concepts and grammatical and semantic functions. We depended on the researches of Kamal Bishr in this regard because of his wise and deep analysis of these phenomena. He tried to explain its functions in pronunciation and its importance in interpreting some grammatical phenomena. In addition, it contributes also to explain a grammatical phenomenon virtually. Our ancient grammarians have already recognized these phenomena in their writings.

يحاول هذا البحث النظرَ في الظواهر الصوتية المرتبطة بالأداء النطقي وسياقه وهي: نبر الجملة، والتنغيم، والفاصلة الصوتية، وتُسمى مجتمعةً "الفونيمات فوق التركيبية"، حيث نقف شارحين، ومحللين، وممثلين، لمفاهيمها، وأبرز الوظائف النّحوية والدّلاليّة التي تشغلها، وذلك من منظور أحد اللّسانيين المعاصرين وهو كمال بشر، إذ بيّن أنّ هذه الفونيمات تؤدي دورا تمييزيا على مستوى المنطوق، وقد يتوقّف عليها المعنى في كثير من السياقات، كما تُساهم في تفسير قضايا نحوية تفسيرا يبتعد عن الافتراض المتكلّف الذي درج عليه النحاة، ويكشف البحث أيضا عن إشارات النحاة لهذه القضايا في مصنفاتهم، وإن لم يفردوها بالدراسة المستقلة، وذلك ردا على من أنكر إدراك النحاة لها.

 Cette recherche tente d'examiner les phénomènes sonores associés à la performance de la parole et à son contexte. Ces derniers, qui sont nommés « phénomènes au-dessus-synthétiques », renvoient à : la mélodie de la phrase, l’intonation et l’intervalle vocal. Notre recherche tente d’expliquer, analyser et représenter les fonctions grammaticales et sémantiques du point de vue du linguiste contemporain Kamel BICHR, qui a expliqué que ces phonèmes jouent un rôle discriminatoire au niveau de l’explicite et ce du fait qu’il se pourrait que la signification en dépend dans de nombreux contextes. Cette recherche contribue ainsi à l’interprétation des problèmes grammaticaux qui s’écartent de la présomption des grammairiens. Elle révèle regalement les références des grammairiens à ces questions dans leurs travaux, bien qu’ils ne les aient pas séparées de l’étude indépendante, en réponse à ceux qui ont nié les connaissances des grammairiens.
