Editorial Policies

Focus and scope

The Journal of Letters and Social Sciences is an open access, peer reviewed journal. The main aim of the journal is to provide an intellectual dais for scholars. The journal aims to promote high quality theoretical and empirical papers. The journal also intends to disseminate scientific knowledge and generate debate in an interdisciplinary context, linking the different areas of humanities and social sciences such as anthropology, archaeology, communication, geography, history, international relationship, journalism, library and information science, philosophy education, political science, psychology, public administration. sociology, sports and physical activity.

The journal is published in online versions.

The journal publishes original papers, conceptual framework, case studies, and empirical research in Arabic, French, and English to target a national and international audience.

The opinions and views expressed in this journal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the positions of the editors and the advisory board.

Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to the Journal of Letters and Social Sciences undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review, with apposite reviewers selected from a general panel of scholars. Both reviewers and authors’ identities remain anonymous. Each manuscript will be peer-reviewed by at least two experts, based on initial editor screening to ensure readiness for review. If reckoned appropriate, manuscripts are then sent out for review.

Open Access Policy

On the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, the Journal of Letters and Social Sciences provides immediate open access to its content that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Besides, submission, review, acceptance and publication processes are free
