   يعد التوجيه و الإرشاد المدرسي و المهني خدمة نفسية و تربوية، فردية، و جماعية تهدف إلى المحافظة على كيان الأفراد و المجتمع سليما، ناميا، و قويا. منم جهة أخرى، طرأت على المجتمع بشكل عام تغيرات عميقة نتيجة للعولمة الحديثة و التطور التكنولوجي.فأسلوب الحياة التي يعيشها الفرد، و العلاقات بين الأفراد و النظم التي تعيش فيها الجماعى في مجتمعنا أصبحت غير مناسبة و غير قادرة على مواكبة التطورات السريعة في العالم مما أدى إلى بالفعل إلى ضرورة في تغيير النظام التربوي و التوجيهي في البلاد. لقد نشأ عن هذه التغيرات جميعا مشكلات نفسية بحاجة إلى العناية و الرعاية مما عزز من ضرورة وجود مرشد نفسي و مهني في مدارسنا الجزائرية من ثم فان هذا المقال موجه إلى ذوي القرار و الوجوه السياسية حتى يعنوا بأهمية التوجيه و الإرشاد في الجزائر و ضرورة إحداث السياسة الحالية حتى تتلاءم مع الظروف الحاضرة، و تسهم في تطوير التعلم مدى الحياة كونه قضية تربوية، و من ثم قضية سياسية تحدد القيم الوطنية للفرد و المجتمع.            

   Professional school counseling has long been investigated by scholars and educators. Some of the theories set forth and tested empirically, aiming at finding definitions of success, will be highlighted and discussed in this article to disclose to the reader answers about how counselors themselves promote the academic and professional development of students, and to what extent we can ameliorate achievement in learning English as a foreign language. An interview, which testifies the practical usage of guidance and counseling in Algeria, has been developed and allocated to counselors. The results are discussed here below.
