The article in front of the reader deals with a diagnosis of the deteriorating reality of Muslims, presented by one of the modern Algerian thinkers, and what can be said to be unfortunate. The thinker offers a solution as a tool to push Muslims back to the stage of history by allowing the democratic choice with all conviction and sincerity, because democracy allows all individuals to be active in the industry of their present and future. This is not strange to Islam which has a culture of democracy that Muslims must develop in order to conform to contemporary reality and its problems. Its primary components are dignity, individual freedom, and responsibility, mutual respect between the individual and the community, and the high morals that elevate the human being

يتناول المقال الذي بين يدي القارئ تشخيصا لواقع المسلمين المتردّي، قدّمه أحد المفكرين الجزائريين المعاصرين، وما يمكن أن يقال عنه إنه مؤسف. والمفكر يقدّم حلا يراه كفيلا بدفع المسلمين إلى الظهور من جديد على مسرح التاريخ، ولكن ذلك لا يكون إلاّ بالركون إلى الخيار الديمقراطي بكل قناعة وصدق، لأن الديمقراطية تسمح بأن يكون الأفراد كلهم فاعلين في صناعة حاضرهم ومستقبلهم، وهذا ليس غريبا عن الإسلام، فهذا الأخير يحوي في طياته ثقافة ديمقراطية وما على المسلمين إلاّ تنميتها وترقيتها، لتتوافق مع الواقع المعاصر ومشكلاته، ومن عناصرها الأولية الكرامة والحرية الفردية والمسؤولية والاحترام المتبادل بين الفرد والجماعة، والتحلي بالأخلاق العالية التي ترفع من قدر الإنسان

L'article présenté au lecteur traite d'un diagnostic de la détérioration de la réalité des musulmans, présenté par l'un des penseurs moderne algérien. Le penseur propose une solution qu’il considère comme un outil permettant de ramener les musulmans dans l’histoire, mais ce n’est qu’en permettant au choix démocratique avec conviction et sincérité que la démocratie permet à tous les individus d’être actifs dans la construction de leur présent et de leur avenir, ce qui n’est pas étranger à l’islam. C’est une culture de la démocratie que les musulmans doivent développer afin de s’adapter à la réalité contemporaine et à ses valeurs : dignité, liberté individuelle, responsabilité, respect mutuel de l’individu et de la communauté, et haute moralité qui élève l’être humain
