In his book “Minhaj El Boulagha Wa Siraj El Udaba”, HAZEM EL KARTAJNI reviewed the role of poetry and its relationship with ethics. Thanks to philosophical and rhetorical connotations, he was able to discover the social value of poetry and its respect to reason and religion and keeping at the same time its essence based on imagination and innovation.

قدّم حازم القرطاجني في كتابه:"منهاج البُلَغَاء وسراج الأدباء" بحثاً مميّزاً عن وظيفة الشعر وعلاقته بالأخلاق، وذلك بمنطلقات فلسفية وبلاغية مكّنته من التأكيد على قيمة الشعر الاجتماعية، وعدم تعارضه مع قوانين العقل، ومتطلبات الدين، دون أن يهدم جوهره القائم على الخيال باعتباره الواسطة التي تجمع الفكرة بجمهورها، والمدخل لتفاعله مع موضوع المتخيّل والصورة المشكّلة عن طريقه، ما يفتح أمام المتلقي آفاق التجربة الإبداعية فينشط لها خياله ويستجيب لمقتضاها.

Hazim al-Qartajanni a présenté dans son livre« Minhaj al-Bulgha' wa Siraj al-Udaba » une recherche singulière sur la fonction de la poésie et sa relation à l’éthique, en partant de connotations philosophiques et rhétoriques qui lui ont permis de souligner la valeur sociale de la poésie, et sa conformité avec la raison et la religion, sans pour autant toucher à son essence basée sur l’imagination et l’innovation.
